Mr. Borer had a level window with its entire indented sill outside. He wanted our confirmation that exterior shades were the best choice and if so to place an order.
We told Mr. Borer that he could fit the interior of the window with Venetian blinds if desired. Those wouldn’t give him the gentle filtered light he wanted though, so exterior shades it was! We used fiberglass-lined vinyl wool for the panels, with a belt-style control strip installed on the interior wall beside the window.
