Mrs. Frankfort was looking for shutters that could add some thermal insulation to her windows while also adding some décor to the outside.
It was clear that Mrs. Frankfort wanted exterior shutters installed from the start. So, after discussing all the possible color and material combinations, we managed to design (with her help) custom exterior shutters that had the look she wanted. She chose vinyl because it didn't require a lot of maintenance. And any window treatments installed on the outside will need to withstand the elements. That's why vinyl exterior shutters were the perfect choice for her needs. And she didn't mind the low cost either.
