Mrs. Keileigh had a house to restore, and heard that the foyer windows used to have bamboo roller shades over them. She decided to get new ones for all three windows, returning the room’s aesthetic to what it once was.
All three windows were the same height and width, so three identical sets of bamboo sheets sufficed for the shades themselves. Mrs. Keileigh thought a simpler, more uniform aesthetic would complement the room, so we included the same black-and-white abstract design on each set. We mounted the bamboo roller shades in standard unpowered spools and included one pair of wheels each to fit in the external tracks. The window frames were too shallow to mount the shades inside of them, so these ended up being exterior shades. We fed the drawcords through the wall next to each frame to make the shades easily adjustable.
