Mrs. Wompikyak had ongoing issues with dust accumulating on her windows, especially after rainstorms. She asked if we could set her up with some waterproof exterior blinds.
Fiberglass-lined straw or vinyl fabric makes for great waterproof fabric, and also is easy to clean of dust and moisture. This makes it a perfect material for exterior blinds, assuming you use a thick enough sheet. The new Wompikyak exterior blinds are dark gray and semi-reflective to keep out more sunlight, and weighted at the bottom to resist wind stresses.
