Mrs. Kramer wanted to put some shades on a large window that she had a lot of furniture next to, and with no sill.
Exterior shades need to be made of tougher and more waterproof material than most indoor window treatments. For this set of custom exterior shades, we went with some dark gray fiberglass-coated wheat shades. Hard to break, resistant to creasing, and completely impervious to water, this material also provides solid UV protection. Mrs. Kramer’s new exterior shades protect both the window and the people and furniture behind it.
